Essay Reminder Due Date 09/16/2014
Hello students, please remember that your rough draft 5 paragraph essays for Rainer Maria Rilke's poems, "The Swan" and "The Panther" are due Tuesday September 16, 2014. In addition, you must remember to type your formal final draft essay outline which is also due Tuesday September 16, 2014.
*Students who wish to type their drafts are allowed to do so, but it is not a requirement. Remember, this essay is a class practice in learning how to synthesize and format an essay. Think of the activity as placing training wheels on one's writing process. You will receive essay credit for participating and completing the essay completely as well as on time. Our next essay analysis will be one where the picking apart and deconstruction of your writing will occur.
* Late essays or typed final draft outlines will be docked 10% everyday the assignments are not turned
